How to Activate & Use This Feature
Settings & Options
To add a new field to the quote form, please follow these steps:
- Open the editing page of the calculator you want the contact form to be edited.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the editing page.
- Expand the accordion titled "Email Quote | Form Builder".
- You will see three default fields for the contact form, the name. email and the phone number field, these field's names can be changed to your language, but cannot be removed.
- Use the plus (+) button at the bottom of the default fields to add your custom fields. You can set the name, description, and type of data the input field should contain. The types are Phone, Text, Address, Date, or Checkbox. You can also toggle if the field will be mandatory or not.
- Finally, hit the 'Add' button.
To edit an existing field, please follow these steps:
- From the list above, follow till the fourth step.
- Find the field you want to edit, click the 'pen' icon.
- To delete the field, use the 'Delete' button on the modal.
- A modal will pop up and you can change the name, description, and the type.
- Finally, hit the 'Update' button to finalize the changes.
